In a new twist this year, Student Council decided to announce homecoming royalty during Monday’s pep fest and to hold the coronation during the homecoming dance that was held on Saturday, October 5.

On Monday’s pepfest, all attendants and King and Queen candidates found out in the moment that they were nominated.

Freshmen attendants were Nick McClure and Riana Ingberg. Sophomore attendants were Daquan Carlson and Alexis Neumann. Junior attendants were Corbin Donner and Abbey Chock.

King candidates were Gunnar Grams, Simon Luckow, Trevor Patterson, Alex Quasbort and Wyatt Schroeder.

Queen candidates were Lilly Bina, Brea Hanson, Brooke Hoenigschmidt, Eve Schultz and Lilly Sipe.

Queen Eve Schultz and King Simon Luckow were crowned at the dance Saturday night. Candidates participated in events throughout the week, wearing the sashes they were awarded at Monday’s pep fest.
