There are various reasons for loving the Fall season. Whether it’s football, Halloween, the weather, soccer, or something else entirely, Fall has a lot of things to offer for everyone.
One popular thing is the limited edition fall drinks. Shops all over the country have their own spin on fall foods and drinks – most popularly the Starbucks, Caribou, and Dunkin Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.
Every shop makes the drinks differently and everyone has their own opinion on which is the best.
In a survey at St. Francis High School both students and staff tasted all three and gave their opinions, and their overall favorite out of the three.
Sydney Petty, junior, tried the Caribou iced pumpkin spiced latte. “Like a seven, it has a bad aftertaste,” she said.
Caribou ended up with two whole points for favorite out of ten from those surveyed.
Next up was Starbucks.Out of all the beverages, Starbuck’s pumpkin latte was definitely the most orange and also the most expensive. I didn’t feel it tasted like anything.
Survey participant Preston Mensink, had a different reaction than most. Instead of giving the drink a rating, as soon as he tasted it he spit it into a nearby trash can.
Even though it’s the most expensive, it was rated the least out of all three and got zero votes for favorite.
Finally Dunkin’s was up for the test. You know what people say, last but certainly not least.
“What is that?” science teacher Tyler Schaff asked.
After giving it a try, he gave Dunkin’ a nine.
Overall, Dunkin’ ended with a favorite score of 8 out of ten. It’s safe to say Dunkin’ won by a long shot.
But now the question is, what’s your favorite out of the three?
