Senior Paityn Pendergrass has been playing soccer since she was five years old with encouragement from her parents.
Since that time Pendergrass has become a captain for the Saint’s girls soccer team and had the opportunity to fight for a slot at the State Tournament in 2023.
As a captain for the team this year she hopes to make that State run again.
In addition to school soccer, Pendergrass also plays soccer for the Boreal soccer club year round.
“ I joined this soccer club to sharpen my skills and stay fresh all year,” she said, “so when school season comes around I am fresh to play.”
She is excited for this season to continue. Currently the Saints areĀ 6-0-2 and having a very good season with a lot of potential.
“I am excited for it to continue,” she said.
