Spencer Baldwin, Writer

Junior Spencer Baldwin started playing soccer when he was only in 1st grade and kept playing until this year.

“I got too too busy between work and school and also my chronic migraines can be an issue,” said Baldwin.

The position he would often play would be center back. During his first game ever he ended up having to go to the ER because he was playing so competitively he got dehydrated.

“I have no serious injuries,” said Spencer, “but I got kicked on the side of the knee one time.”

Throughout the whole time he was playing soccer he was very competitive; that’s exactly what he enjoyed about it.

“You get a lot more freedom in soccer in the plays you do compared to other sports such as football,” said Baldwin. – Profile by Kami Ferguson
